I installed a paid version of XMM some time ago, and regularly check for updates to the program or scripts. However I haven't received any sign of updates to scripts or new scripts

Then they were no new scripts... the last updates I remember were in May.
In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.
