Well, for me the goofs are taken, but the different release years are still broken.
I hope that I will find time soon to fix the hopefully last broken function.
Then I will try to fix the other IMDB scripts, too. |

Should work now except for the trailer.
The CharacterInfo seems no longer to be supported. That link now shows to the Quotes.
Maybe someone other is able to fix these 2 functions...
The other IMDB scripts will be corrected during the next week - I hope.

At the moment I have to update some progs for my job. I think it will last one or two weeks until I have time to fix them.
By the way: I didn't have checked if the actors import with the imdb full script still works or if that function needs fixing, too. |

Hello People and i wish you a happy new year :)
I had the same problem and i fix it using JDommi's fantastic new imdb complete script Ver 3. I want to ask JDommi if is it possible to write the imdb fastest script like he did for the complete version because it is more flexible and light. thanks in advance |

Of course! Bit at first I will fix the script for TVShows.
I have to admit that the fastest script is not one of my favorites... the correct settings for the complete one will almost work like the fastest one. But I will have a look at, too. I hope that I will have the time during the next week as I have the whole week holidays. But I also have to change my system drive to a new ssd, too.
Sorry, but at the beginning of a new year there were always many changes on the progs I wrote for my job. |

"IMDB.COM (Complete)" 23/August/2017 and "IMDB.COM (Actors)" 24/August/2017 are not retrieving actors.
EDIT: Just downloaded V3 of the "IMDB.COM (Complete)" script, now seems to be getting the actors OK. Thanks heaps JDommi. |

Sorry, that I wasn't quicker. But I have had a lot to do for my job these days.
I still haven't found the time to correct the TVShows yet but today I have finished the Complete one.

  That is not good. Will there be a way for Alessio to modify MagicScript in a way that it will work again? I just tested some programs that also use IMDb as data source (MyMovies, EMDB, Ant Movie Catalog) and in all of this programs character info download still works. |

It's not related to XMM, Mawu.
I simply don't find that info anymore on the webpage(s)!
When you can say me the web adress then I can fix it immedeatly. At least I was one of the users who have always wanted such a field and I would be happy to have it back!
On the previous used page there are now only photos and quotes... |

Nachdem ich dein neues Skript getestet habe muss ich dir Abbitte leisten. Offenbar meinen wir mit Charakter Info zwei unterschiedliche Dinge. Ich meine den Rollennamen in der Schauspielertabelle im Cast&Crew Tab. Der wird nämlich mit deinem Skript korrekt importiert. In Alessios Skript von letzter Woche wurden bei mir nur die Schaupieler- nicht aber die Rollennamen importiert. |

Hab ich mir schon gedacht 
Vorher gab es noch eine kurze Beschreibung des Characters. Zumindest für einige Hauptpersonen in Filmen/Serien.
Diese sind leider komplett verschwunden. Dafür gibt's jetzt jede Menge Bilder und Quotes, die eh niemand wirklich braucht.
Muss bei Gelegenheit aber mal gucken, ob bei den Bildern evtl. Character-Abbildungen mit bei sind. |

| JDommi, thank you very much for your work! However I am sorry to report that since Feb. 7th the new IMDB.COM (Complete) script stopped to import actors - again. :-( |

I downloaded the V4 script again and tried again, but no joy, actors are not imported, Could it be a preferences issue? I set Actors to import=99, Complete import=off, Complete actors' download=off, Fanart=off, complete non-actors import=off. Other switches are left to default. I want no actors' details in the database because it's already big enough (my mdb is a 122 MB file).
Another strange thing: the V3 script performed well with the same preferences, but now it doesn't import any actors, too. Should I try a complete reinstall of XMM, maybe? |

The option can be. Please try the script with the standard options if that does it. Additionally check the fields for importing by the script.
A re-installation seems useless to me as there nothing has changed since the working script from last year, I think. |

Your advice did the trick! I reset to default all the script options, and 12 Actors got imported. Then I selected another new movie (never imported before), switched "Actors complete download" off, and again 12 actors were imported. Then I selected another new movie, changed the number of actors to import to 25 and 25 were imported.
So now everything is right again for me. I have a hunch that the culprit could be the "complete import" item, but I didn't test this. I used to switch it off before, now I left it on.
Other fields seem OK to me, no problem there.
