Hi. I have followed every instruction option on the Wiki link for adding a TV show and episodes. None are working.
The only process I've found to work is the 'Add Episode' button individually which defeats processing multiple files at the same time.
I have named my .avi files in accordance with the Wiki directions and tried adding by 'TXT' files, etc.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, ttrenchj |

Do you have selected the proper directory for importing TVShows with the device scanner? Have you set the option to read that folder recursively?

Yes, to both questions.
I have found if I go to the 'Files' tab and select all applicable TV show files, that seems to make it usable, but I still have to accept each file as it's file link is imported to the database.
Would be great if one could just click on a 'Yes to all' button... |

Tomorrow I will describe the way I do that normally as it differs if I only add new episodes or a whole Show. At the moment I'm @work so I don't have time to do it just now. The button "yes to all" isn't needed as you can add multiple files. Even the device scanner takes all recognized movie files except to change the checkbox in front of each entry. |

JDommi, understood.
I am just saying that the scripts are not bringing the .avi file link data to the 'File' tab...which seems to be the only way a TV show episode can be played.
Any other approach - where no file links are added to the 'File' tab - does not allow 'Play'.
I appreciate your patience. ttrenchj |

The scripts can't store the link to the media files as it proceeds only the info from the internet. And the device scanner only adds the files and the title to the database. So don't expect to get both in one single step... |
