Hi Guys,
I have upload just now the new release.
I have add the possibility to change the Movie/Serie/Actor title when import directlinks (like was in 4.8), with a button to "Search Again".
As always, please report bugs.

Hi Alessio,
I'm trying this new version. A first bug I have found. When I use a chain script to import movie's informations, if with the first script XMM find a directlink (without need to select a movie in results), XMM doesn't try to find links for the others sites (in my case for the second site ALLOCINE.FR (the first is IMDB)).
If I find another bug, I will report them.

Another bug report here. Reading files from a DVD (several divx movies belong to same movie) doesn't work. xMM adds only one of the files. Hope you can fix it soon.

I have reported the same bug a while back. [see no.8 in my post under "XMM 5.1.3.0 Ready for Download...") For me it also happens the same thing if the 2nd script finds direct link. It wont let you then choose the link of the first scipt's links. Just takes the direct link only and goes on. |

Hi Alessio,
Instead of a comment to the new version I will list the things that prevents me from switching completely from XMM 4.8 to XMM 5.1.5 at the moment:
- authentification only online: I have installed XMM on an external hard disk to use it 50% of the time at a pc not connected to the internet
[Done in 5.1.7.0]
- all config infos are stored exclusively in the registry, no comfortable backup possible
- VHS ID from XMM 4.8 is not imported from 4.8
[Done in 5.1.7.0]
- Media year not imported from 4.8 as dd.MM.yyyy (although configured in import window)
[Already Done]
- IMDB script can't download the whole cast
[Done right now]
- manual editing is a pain as there are only few pulldown menues for data fields
- no filters available, treeview is no alternative (BTW: the problem of labeling the folders in treeview "true" and "false" still exist)
- change of MovieID not possible
[Done in 5.1.7.0]
- movie search is limited (in comparison to 4.8)
- no over-all view of movies and series (where is the "My Media" tab gone?)
- limited statistic (charts don't work at all), no mini statistic
- 01.01.1900 as default date

I am working on your request, I have a question. I can put the old VHS ID in CatalogNo, what do you think? You use both CatalogNo and VHS ID in your Old database?

for me this solution would be perfect as I only use the VHS ID in XMM 4.8 (and MovieID as a kind of CatalogNo). But this option should be selectable as other users are using the IDs in another way.
