When I change in script (let's say in my script FILMWEB.PL) line from:

TVSERIES=FALSE to:
TVSERIES=TRUE

GOOFS, TRIVIA and CONNECTIONS ARE written to the database, otherwise ARE NOT.
Of course I also have to change movie --> to TV show, to run the script.
Could somebody explain this?

I just have tested your script with the movie Matrix (1999).
Trivia and Connections were taken as it should be. Goofs were not found for Matrix.
So I didn't have found any error or bug...

One line of code in your script I had to change as my own debugger has problems with it:
	#SEARCHREPLACEVAR#= |#04##00#

to
	#CHECKVARIABLE#=#04#
	#TRIM#

I did stupid mistake. I didn't check proper fields in script options.
