Why do I need to re-input the COLUMN or select the View Skin after each fresh installation.

Each time I reformat my PC/Laptop and reinstall EMM I will have to go through with selecting the COLUMN and SKIN choser.

What is the purpose of back-up if it doesn't fully mirror what it is backing up. This annoying thing happened since I bought the apps 5 years ago it never change.

Well, simple answer: Backup backups only the .mdb file (database without the pics) and not the program.
To be true I don't know any program that backups itself.
Use something like Acronis TrueImage or Macrium Reflect instead. Or simply backup your XMM folder manually...

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

If I backup without the pics then I won't have the pics. I need it to backup everything. I did the backup manually before I reformat my drive and it is no help.

For me the manually backup always did the trick for the database.
The settings for XMM itself can be a problem depending on your OS and the (rights for) installation folder as sometimes the settings are not stored where we expect and see them but in a "virtual folder".

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.
