Hi,
I'm an happy user since XMM6 and I wish to go with version 9, but I'm still with XMM7 because of xml export.
I use MediaPortal to watch movies and series, but since XMM8 XML export won't work anymore with MediaPortal.
The problem should be in the export of the filename field.
While for all the other field It seems to be ok.
Here an example:

XMM7 --> <MovieFile1>G:\La#160;Vita#160;#232;#160;Bella#160;-#160;IT.AVI</MovieFile1>
XMM8-9 --> <MovieFile1>G:\La Vita è Bella - IT.AVI</MovieFile1>

MediaPortal compatibility is broken with XMM8 and XMM9!

Can you fix this in the next release?

Unfortunately I can't change anything on that myself. This function is hardcoded and only Ale can make such fixes.
In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.
