Hello.
I'm having problems with the version 9 that I did not have before. Can someone please help me.
1.- Unable to view any of the panels (TreeView, QuickEdit...)None of these panels show when pushing on the correspondent button.
2.- The cover images in grid view use to be big and now they are just micro pictures.
3.- When adding a movie it gets all the info (default database), the name is correct, the image is correct but actors, directors <ns cast& crew in general are either wrong or mixed with other movies. So you have to delete all the extra names that don't correspond.
None of this happened in version 8.

Just quick answers as I'm @work.
1. Reset your Layout under View and check in the options if your Layout is freezed (Tab Main I think).
2. You are probably speaking of the ShelfView. That ubnnfortunately doesn't exist anymore.
3. You are using IMDB, correct? The new scripts for IMDB are set to grab the info for ALL persons. Including director, writer, musician, etc. A mix-up between different movies? I never have recognized that...

Thanks for your quick reply.
1. - I tried the Layout Reset several times with no luck. The Layout is not set on freeze. At the bottom of the page I get a message: 91- Object reference non established... (in the grey frame) I don't know if this helps any.

3. I'm adding a link with a couple of images to show you what I mean https://emoviem.blogspot.com/2017/04/grid-view-edit-main-view-incorrect.html . You get plenty of actors that have nothing to do with the movie whatsoever. Same thing with cast and crew. For example for several Kirk Douglas classic movies I get the C&C from Pirates of the Caribbean. The movie dates, covers and Taglines for instance are correct.

Quick late night check:
For me there is no mix-up during import. Please try it again with a new database if the error occurs again. When not then backup the database file, please. Now try "Compact and Repair" on the database. Although I don't think that this will help.

For the layout you could try this: rename the config.ini to config.ini.bak. Then start XMM and let it create the file again. This way you should have the standard config again - of course without your personal settings.

Hello again. None of the trick worked. I renamed the config.ini and restarted the software but unfortunately no change regarding the viw panels.

Regarding the mix during the import I tried to re update with thge same result. I did the de Compact and Repair but nothing changed.
What I ended up doing is right-clicking over the row and selecting "Clear all fields and Reset Import Satus. With this I clear all the Fields but the import would comeback the same with the wrong information. But I noticed that if I did this and moved to the next movie with wrong data and did the same without allowing the software to proceed with the "Reset Import Status"I could then come back and in edit mode ask for the "Update From Web", This time it capture the right information.

I hope when there is a new update It will fix the view problem. Another thing I did twice is to completely uninstall the software, erase all trace and reinstall but it did not fix the problem.

Thanks for all the help. If you come up with any other idea I will welcome it.

A full re-installation didn't help, too?
At least there is a new release from today - please try to install this version. Maybe before installation you can move all files in subfolder Layout to a backup folder.

Hello again. I completely uninstalled everything again and reinstalled and updated to the last version and it seemed to do the trick this time.
Everything seems functional.

Yes thanks. Everything is working fine now. I have no clue of why all of this happened. The important thing is that now it's fixed.
