At first TV Shows and Movies do have separate Scripts which can't be mixed. You have to set the isTVShow flag for series.
To select the correct movie/show you have to go to the Options -> MagicScript and deselect "Take the first Link...". Now you can select or modify the search if you can't find the correct one.

That has not helped. all i get is this...

Can i force the script to access a direct link without searching the web first?
I would say no, but I haven't tested it. Maybe you can add the link manually to the field Direct-Link and/or to the Web-Link. But in general you have to search for the link via the web-search in the script. When you are not sure what link is the correct one then you can click on the reading-glass at the bottom of the result window. This will open the website in your browser.
But: did you get no search results? Sometimes it takes a little while until all movie results will be read.
