Hello eMM's

My wife and I currently have our Movie database saved as a simple MS Word doc, saved to Google Drive. This way we can each access it where ever we are, when shopping for new movies... to see if we have them already. We check the list and update it from our iPhones. We each frequently check the list and add a movie here and there when we pick one up.

What's the best way for us to do this w/ eMM?

Sorry, that's not my world...

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

@WoodenMovieMan

Ok, first of all you have to feed xMM with movie data.
I do not have an iphone, but I have in mind that you can use an app to transfer your xMM data to your smartphone:

You can also export your collection in HTML, put it online and view it in your webbrowser:

Road 1: Main--Files--Export Collection--Export Movies/TV-Shows--Expoirt Manager--HTML-Template (you can select between four different templates

Road 2: My devices--My Collection in HTML

Also possible:
Main--Files--Export Collection--Export Movies/TV-Shows--Grid Export
There you get a "screenshot" of the grid view that can be exported in many other formats.

Just play a little bit with the export features of xMM.
