Quando si muove il cursore del mouse sullo spazio nella scheda film riservato agli attori, compare un pop-up che li contiene tutti.
E' una soluzione molto elegante e pratica, dato che consente di vedere istantaneamente dati che altrimenti richiederebbero uno scorrimento orizzontale eccessivo.
Tuttavia il pop-up si attiva solo per pochi secondi (circa 5) dopodiché si chiude automaticamente.
Il tempo prefissato a volte non è sufficiente per leggere tutti gli attori, sarebbe quindi utile che il pop-up restasse aperto per tutto il tempo in cui il mouse rimane posizionato sopra lo spazio per gli attori o almeno per un tempo maggiore (doppio).

What kind of popup do you think of and what HTMLCard are you using. |

Hello, go to the main "FILM" panel then set it to "Vista griglia", then select one among your film's titles(it must be completely imported with full cast actor's names), then follow by the mouse the line of the single film's data to the right (as TITLE, MOVIE YEAR, DIRECTOR etc.), then put and keep the mouse arrow cursor on the data of the field column "ACTORS", instantly a little white pop-up screen will appear showing ALL the imported actor's names (even though just one name,or less, appeared because the length was reduced by you to leave room for the other columns of data),this little white box will disappear in a few seconds (too little time in my opinion).

Aah, the Main Grid is it!
That's a feature of the GridControl itself. I don't know if the GridControl (DevExpress) is adjustable by the programer.

This smart feature is active not only for the actor's field but also for every field which is longer than a predefined number of characters

Yes, I know. I think it's in every windows based grids the same.
But I don't know if it's only activated/deactivated or if it's time to show programatically to set. |
