How do delete the middle two? Nothing in them but won't delete.

Okay, that's no problem.
You only have to edit the movies with those corrupted Genre info. Then these entries will automatically disappear.

What happens when you click on the "subfolder"?
For me I can see all the movies with that genre in the grid.

Subfolder is empty when I click on them. no movies in them sir.
