Ora XMM non parte (XMM Cannot Connect to Database..if you have a 64 bit System please download the Drivers from Microsoft). Installato, XMM è tornato a funzionare. Windows update could not install the updates found for Office 2013, and even though I followed the instructions found on the Microsoft site, I could not fix it. So I uninstalled the Office even using the Microsoft tool "o15-ctrremove.diagcab". Now XMM will not start (XMM Can not Connect to Database..if you have a 64-bit System please download the Drivers from Microsoft). By clicking on "OK", I am directed to the "Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable" download page. Installed, XMM is back to work. Only that Windows update now finds updates even for Office 2010. So XMM is related to its presence but by uninstalling Office you have to reinstall the engine .... |

Grazie. I would like to know if you need to install "Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable" to run XMM or you can install 2013, so that Windows update can not find updates for Office 2010. Thank you. |

To be true, I don't know. I'm still using office 2003 32-bit. Maybe another user does know... |

JDommi, è importante per me.

In general I can say that you can use the database engine without having office installed. I have tested that on a machine where MS Office was replaced by Libre Office. When using XMM 32-bit you maybe have to install the 32-bit redistributable or maybe nothing. For the 64-bit release of XMM ??? As said before I'm still using Office 2003 32-bit on Windows 10 64-bit.

Forse è perchè ho XMM a 64 bit.
Unfortunately, after uninstalling the office of Microsoft, I installed LibreOffice but XMM does not start without the database engine .. Maybe it's because I have 64-bit XMMs. I will have to install the 32 bit one, but it is certain that the more I go forward and the more problems arise ... |

If you don't need the 64-bit release of XMM then switch to XMM 32 and install the 32-bit database engine in the case that Libre Office doesn't install that engine as standard. I think that there are no other restrictions. |

Dove posso trovare altre MovieCards? Grazie.
With a Windows 7 "clean" I installed Libreoffice and the latest version of 32-bit XMM and it works all ... There is only one thing I do not understand: in the tree view ordered for "CatalogNo" I only see numbers and not, also, the letters I used to contain the films. That is, I have stored DVD movies (to which I have assigned numbers) and in HD (to which I gave names) and this last are not displayed in the tree view. Instead, they are visible in the grid view. If I wanted to see all the movies in an HD I would not know how to do it. What does it depend on? Where can I find other MovieCards? Thank you. |

To the catalog no. I can't say anything. Best to ask Mawu for that as he uses that field. To group movies I would use the Location variable (I don't know the correct name as I'm @work at the moment). Other moviecards? I think they are already all included. Maybe there are a few updates that you can find in different topics. Just search for "movie bigcover". |
