There is no category for this So I'm asking it here Where is the mini stat? ( the part under the tree view in the left hand cover of the screen which shows how many movies are with covers or not)
It seems XMM10 is here to stay until 11 is 'fit for purpose'. So I tried XMM10 - not encouraging. Also its disappointing there is no forum for bugs/questions so I've put them (the results of 30 minutes install and test) here
1 It takes ages 2+ minutes to start up (7k movie database)
2 I clicked on arrow in right of heading 'picture' and XMM 'stopped' with rotating blue wheel for 2 - 3 minutes and then crashed with net unhandled error
3 I removed picture column but rows do not resize so still only 10 movies/page without scrolling. It seems they can be manually resized (but auto would be nicer)
4 Ticked all boxes on settings->treeview options and clicked 'apply' and XMM locked up (Task manager reports 'Not Responding' but Processes shows it is reading (looks like whole database) but why is it so slow? It took nearly 4 minutes to redisplay the treeview.
5 Then when I click OK it takes another 4 - 5 minutes to read the entire database AGAIN
6 CRITICAL: What happened to the edit screen? Where can I edit/add the movie information?
7 Still no index on category. What is the point of adding categories if you cant easily group movies of the same 'category' together.
Mind you, I cant find an edit view so I cant update category anyway :-(

Alessio killed mini stat, quick edit and front/back cover display in XMM 10. Three reasons to stay with xMM 9
@Rincewindwiz 7000 films in the database are quite a lot. Perhaps the size limitation of the Access database is causing problems here. It is questionable whether something will be done at all with the further development of xMM. That means that we have to live with the current state of development of the program.

Not an Access problem. Access is supposed to handle DB up to 2GB and mine is only 1/2 GB
Noidea where Alessio gets his priorities from. Allmostofus want is something that works not endless new features that don't work! - biut Imay have said that before!!
