I downloaded a new application today called "sQusi Tracking Blocker" from http://www.squsi.com The application blocks ads and in particular, those annoying "Intellitxt" ads, the latter of which display popups if you hover your mouse over certain double underlined words on web pages that subscribe to the Vibrantmedia Intellitxt ads service. The application also has the option to flush the IE cache folder and in that particular respect, I note there's an item in there at the moment called hxxp://codice.shinystat.it/cgi-bin/getcod.cgi?USER=divxmanager (substitute xx for "tt") I checked the Temporary Internet Files folder, but the item doesn't appear to be visible. I also checked the Content.IE5 folder via the Run command (type: %temp% and click OK for the benefit anybody who doesn't know how to use it), but the item isn't visible via that method either. So my question is, is it OK to delete this file? I assume it's connected with XMM since I haven't visited any Italian sites lately and the "it" in the URL identifies it as Italian.
