I'm confused here. I have a good enough collection now to use this great feature. I used tv.com to grab all the info (same site i use anyway to name my files properly and proper info), which DOES have all the aired dates, yet XMM doesn't show any after importing all info. Whats wrong here? I know they have all air dates on the site, but XMM isn't grabbing them. I tried another script choice, and regrabbed info, but that didn't help. I can go inside each episode, and see the air date just fine, but in my catalog, the Air Date field is blank on all of the episodes. Please help??? Thanks guys. |

Awe shoot, can't edit this without an error. Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'rs'
/forum/post.asp, line 642
Using Winxp x64 Pro edition, all updates done. Anyway, after registering it again, and closing out, and reopening, it seems to be showing the dates, only after unloading, and reloading the database. So far so good i guess here.
Only thing left is, how can i change the script (if thats whats needed to be done) so instead of the date showing "Sunday April 9, 2006", or "25 September 2006" it shows "12/17/2006" like it does from TV.COM's site itself. It's getting the info from them, why wouldn't it display it that way in the database field? And the fact that different shows show the date one way, and some show a different way, even though i'm grabbing all the info from the same site? Confusing.
Some show- "Sunday April 9, 2006", and some show as "25 September 2006". That's very wierd to me. Is there reasoning for this please? Thanks again guys. |

Hi,
The way XMM show the air dates depends by witch script you use to update the information from internet.
The problem with TV.COM is that you can "see" the airdate in this format "12/17/2006" in the episode list, but in the episode details webpage the airdate is write like "25 September 2006".
At this time I cannot do nothing for this problem, I will try to modify the engine in future releases.
Thank you!

I wasn't aware of any other scripts that do import the air date correctly. So it would be possible (Until you are able to get this modified in the future) to make a multiscript that will 1)get all info from TV.COM, and then 2)Re-get Air date from another said script til the future?? Based on how multiscripts work with XMM. That way i could do that as a workaround and even post for others to use til that time. BUt i wouldn t know which script already gets the airdate in that format, unless you happen know already? Thanks Alessio!!
PS-Reason i need some help with the script, is because i was thinking of making a multi-script anyway that will download better pictures for cover anyway. TV.COM's are useless most of the time, and are really just screenshots from the show. |

Hi,
At this time there is no script that import the air date in the format you want.
I am working to change the TV.COM to get the date from the episode list.

This option is available only in TV.COM script, and you must use the latest XMM release.
Be sure the option "Air Date Format" is = 1
Bye!

I'm using the newest 5.6.6.0 version (updated before last post, and updated any new scripts. I don't see that option though. This is the only options below in the script-
Reviews Import- Similar Shows Import-1 Serie Awards-1 Serie Posters-1 TV Show Title-0
Those are the only script options showing for the TV.COM's script, and i only see 1 TV.COM script in the list. Am i doing something wrong here? Sorry if so, thought things were more simple then that if i did something wrong.
I checked the TV.COM.txt and noticed the date says "Date 28/November/2006". Shouldn't that be more recent if it was just changed, or is XMM not properly grabbing the new script you did? |
