Hello,

I just discover this product and seem to be very good. But I have some question before I buy it to see if it realy match my needs.

I have all my movies and music riped on a Hard disk so that i can watch them more easyly and quickly. And I am looking for a software that can let me manage easyly my collection and watch them.

My question is with your product it is just a managing tool or i can launch easly the movei from it ? as in screen shoots i dont see any Play button.
Also I have a ATI Remote wonder with a remote control. There are alot of scripts for Media player to use my remote with them. I was wondering if from distance with my remore i can be able to Control your software and laucnh movies. (My laptop will be swiutch with TV so i need to use remote from my Sofa :D)

Thanks for your help to clarify all this.

Regards,

Hi,

Please sorry for my late reply! I was out for work this week, this is why I haven't answer.

If you use the "Import movies from Hard Disk" function, or if you use the function "Read Files" from EDIT window, XMM will let you play the movies.

The Play button is the Big Blue button under the Treeview in main window, it's visible only if a movie can be played (this means if XMM can reach the file).

Please let me know if you have problems!

Alessio

Thanks for the answer :)
What happens when you click on the button doese it open the movie in the Default player ? and is there any Keyboard short cut to do so ?
Infact what i want to do is , switch my computer to TV and from my bed I will use the ATI remote control to launch movies from computer. so if there short cuts for each command in your software then every thing can be control by remote :) is there nay Full screen mode for this software like My movies of Microsoft ?

Thanks for all your help :)

Hi,

The shortcut to play a movie from XMM (that open the default player) will be on 5.7.7.0.

I am adding it just now, and will be Alt-F5 to play the first movie file (and for the next F6, F7...)

And will be CTRL-F5 for first trailer.

Bye!
