Putting a new MEDIA PC together and when I moved the hard drives, they have new drive letters, of course.

First thing I tried was to load the db in access and do a simple search/replace ... well, all the info is there except the needed FILE LOCATION.

Read this forum and searched; found the suggestion to use windows shortcuts (.lnk) etc.

There has to be a simpler solution?
Thanks for your time.

There is an advanced function that you can use to replace the hard drive (make a backup of your database first!)

1-Select all movies from grid
2-Go to "Tools->Multiple changes at once->Replace word on Files"

Now, if your movies was stored on "c:\mymovies" for example just replace the "c:\" with the new hard drive, for example "d:\"

Bye!
