Hello,
Not sure if its a bug but if I remove the image of movie that was downloaded from IMDB and replace with my own hi-resolution image, the thumbnail view doen't refresh to show the new image in thumbnail.

Please advise if its a bug or not. The thumbnail view doesn't show the thumbnail for the newly added picture of the movie.

Hi,
I have found the problem: you should delete the movie thumbnail picture from the "_thumb" subfolder of your database.
I will try to find a more "user-friendly" way to do this.
Thank you,

Hello Alessio,
Thanks for your response. How about you put a logic that Thumbnail image is always a low-res version of 1st picture. If 1st picture is changed, then use the thumbnail from this new 1st pic.
Scripts when used to update a movie will put the downloaded pic as 1st only if 1st placeholder is emptly. If not empty then scripts use the next available placeholder.

I know this is a very old topic, but it seems to still exist. I added manually a cover picture to the wrong movie, and then deleted it through cover manager. The thumbnail remained despite a refresh.
I followed the last response to this topic, and it cleared the thumbnail. However when I filter only the files with thumbnails, the movie of which I removed the thumbnail remains in the filter, although it has no thumbnail
I took a screenshot, but cannot seem to add it here |
