Once I downloaded the new version of XMM, I converted my old database. But now when I load the database I receive this error "Il provider Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 non è registrato nel computer locale" and I can't display the list of my movies.

How long for the stable version?

Hi,

Do you have problems only with "converted" database or also with the example DB?

the problem is also with the example db, and when I start up the program...
I installed XMM 7 beta on windows XP Professional SP3; if i had to set up something in the configuration of the system, please give me some advice; I actually work in Computer Science field.

The old 6.x work correctly without this error?

Can you load the example database?

Yes, the 6.x version works correctly. it manages to load both the example db and mine (the old version).

P.S.: when I click on actors, movies on the left side, the program gives this message "91-riferimento a un oggetto non impostato su un'istanza di un oggetto...".

P.S.2: I have a notebook with Vista OS, and XMM 7 works correctly

XP SP3 has the latest version of Jet OLDDB and refuses to install another version.

No, it does not work.
Always the same message.

In French:
"le fournisseur 'microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0' n'est pas inscrit sur l'ordinateur local"

If I try to add a movie, it is the same.

Alessio, this problem is probably linked to MS Office 2007. If one hasn't it already installed, the error appears, and doesn't go away with the patch.

I solved it by installing the MS Office 2007 Jet Database Engine. The italian version is downloadable here:

Thank you for the suggestion, but you mean the error of "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0", not the error of "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0", right?
