Hello,
I have a lot of movies in my database which were imported with IMDB.complete script. However I have noticed that :
1. In some of these movies the complete actors info is not imported. Even sometime the actors in the lead and main roles are omitted.
2. Some actors are imported without the Actor ID or WebID numbers
3. Some actors do not show ActorID in the Movie Quick Edit view in the 'Crew' tab (with tabular lines at the bottom for actors), however in the individual Actor Quick Edit window they have a WebID number assigned to them.
Due to the above it happens that I cannot perform a reliable search for all movies having a particular actor. Also it happens that when I click a particular actor in the 'Movie HTML Page' to browse to the 'Actor HTML Page', it shows a Just in Time complier error and I have to terminate the program.
I tried deleting the actors info from the main access database file for XMM to re-import the actors with correct ActorID and associate it with the Actors database, but in vain. Even after a re-import of all the actors it shows error when navigating to individual actors HTML page.
I suggest that please add a separate feature for complete maintenance of actors database, to import any missing Actor ID info and to repair all broken linkages in the between the movie and actors database so the movie and actors database should work perfectly in sync. Something which can complete redo the actors database if needed and places correct links in the movie database entries wherever the actor is listed.
