If you try to import info from amazon.de for movies containing a german so-called "Umlaut" like ä,ö,ü the script will find no matching dvd.

You can resolve the problem by replacing ä by ae (or ö by oe, ü by ue). Then the correct dvd will be found (and it contains the "Umlaut".

The same happens with the german ß which must be replaced by ss to find the movie.

Yes, ther is missing a replace function in MagicScript.
Would be even better to automatically replace äöüß automatically to it's web expression.
I hope Ale will add this really usefull function in near future!

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

Why not just use #SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERY#?

#SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERYWORD#=ü=%FC
#SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERYWORD#=Ü=%DC
#SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERYWORD#=ä=%E4

...And so forth?

Remember to save the .TXT in ANSI format..

Haven't known that this command already exists
Good to know!!!
Now there is only missing a simple replace function beside #SUBSTUTUTETAGS#...

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.
