Suddenly, it's working.
I will use themoviedb script only for Budget and Gross(Revenue)
Do you know some other script which will give me worldwide gross(revenue)?

Yeah the search engine is very unreliably . I programmed a version which has a additional alternative search engine (google search on themoviedb.org). The google search can be deactivated in Advanced Options.

I have to look if there is another script for it. |

The Script doesn't work anymore. The Site has changed everything. The unofficial search-engine isn't working anymore and the layout has changed.
I'm in the process to convert the script, it will use only google search on the site in future. It could take some time, because the entire Site has changed. |

I programmed a version (not completely finished/tested yet) via the themoviedb API. Works very well, but there is the Problem with the APIKey...
I don't no what is the best solution:
1. Alessio get's a APIkey for XMM
2. Everybody who uses the script must get it's on key. Only practicable if Alessio would add some Function that the everybody can enter it's own key, for example in the Options-Dialog and then make this key available via variable/constant in Magic-Script. |

If you want to use this script you have to get a free APIKEY for themoviedb.com and add the APIKEY to the script:
quote: With the newly migrated API that I just launched tonight you can actually generate your own API key right from within your account.
If you haven't signed up, you can do so by clicking here: http://www.themoviedb.org/account/signup
Once you have logged in, simply click into the "Account Details" tab and then finally the "Want to generate an API key?" link.
Here is the script that must be edited with your personal APIKEY:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ywyghhtzeny
Edit the following 2 Lines and replace the word APIKEY with your personal APIKEY.
Line 39: #WEBQUERY#=http://api.themoviedb.org/2.1/Movie.search/en/xml/APIKEY/#MOVIE#
Line 67: #PUT#=APIKEY#77# |

New Script: - THEMOVIEDB.ORG[Actors](API) for import of Actors via themoviedb
Both Scripts need to be edited with your personal APIKEY!

- Added Intelligent Directlink Engine (Title/Originaltitle and Year or Custom8 must match)

Hi Prinz, do you plan to add the (api-)script for tv series, too? |

You mean thetvdb api?
That is impossible.
The thetvdb api uses zipped data and random generators to select a mirror. The update api uses additional data that i can't store (no fields for that) in the database.
There are no functions/fields for all that in magic script. |

Wasn't it TMDB with the API key? But I have recognized that TMDB isn't really good for series... So you are right - I have thought of TheTVDB.
Edit: But the API-version for TMDB now gets german info what isn't possible with the "normal" script I only had to change /en/ to /de/ - and bingo |
