Hi
Not sure when but lately EMM stopped importing Movie Titles. It doesn't replace title with one downloaded from the web. I have option "Import Movie Titles From The Internet" checked but it seems no to have any effect.
Did anyone else experienced this problem? If that's the script problem, could someone look into it ?
Thanks and keep up the good work !

Improved Version:
- Take Front- and Back-Cover in correct Database Fields - Actor-Import (be very careful with the Filmography Option = takes a very long and the import is aborted after a certain number of lines/ that is a limitation/security function in the magic script engine) - many small fixes

Hi,
Thanks but I'm afraid it doesn't fix it. Still doesn't import and replace the Title field. Also your script doesn't download back cover, only front. My old one does it without problem :(
Thanks |

Both things are working on my PC. For Title import you have to enable the option in the XMM Main Options Menu. (Not to be confused with the Advanced Options in Script-Menu)
Back-Cover is imported also, tested with a few movies. The old script didn't import the Backcover (or to be more precise: it imported the Back-Cover incorrectly as Second Front-Cover).
Additional Bugfix: - removed wrong old RIGHTPAGEFOUND function

Well then i don't know what's wrong wit my setup. Your script makes it worst, doesn't import back cover:(
as you can see:
As mentioned before i do have option you mention turned on:
Did full uninstall and installed EMM again, still no luck. Might it be a problem with my database or smth else ?
UPDATE: I know what the problem is with Covers in my case I have back cover turn off, just realized that there are two windows, one for front other for back cover. I had it as only front cover displayed and two of them were showing together with an arrow to switch between them, which suits me much better in this case. That's why I said it doesn't import back cover, my bad sorry. Problem with Title still exists though.

Works for me as you can see:
I see your Problem:
When Importing, Add New Values only to Blank Fields (Do not replace existing information)
is checked and then of course it doesn't import the Title. |

Hallelujah
Thanks a lot my friend !! :) I don't know how I missed that! :( Probably because I concentrated on that other option. Must have switched itself on when updating at some point as I never messed with options menu and it just stopped importing.
Will stay with my old script as it now does what i want, importing back and front together is in my case the best option.
Once again THANKS :)

P.S. I'm not sure if you could but would it be possible for you to "personalize" this script for me ? New one imports much more data but covers are not as I like. Do you think you could change it for me to import both covers into picture view panel? That would be great ! Or pls tell me how to do it and I'm happy to do it myself :)

If you still would like to use the new script and that is your only Problem, you can simply replace
#TAKEPOSTERBACK#=#04#
with
#TAKEPOSTER#=#04#
in the script. |

Thanks :)
Also Just realized that option:
When Importing, Add New Values only to Blank Fields (Do not replace existing information)
tend to turn itself on for some reason, maybe because I was switching between two scripts or just on it's own. Need to investigate :)
UPDATE: Can confirm that the option:
When Importing, Add New Values only to Blank Fields (Do not replace existing information)
Turns itself on after downloading movie information, could you check if it's the same for you ? Will have to look into it later on and maybe post about it somewhere else.
Thanks

I never touched that option since my Win7 install last year. I can't even say if i changed it ever.
It is and was always deactivated on my PC.
Did you in the config.ini, if the option gets saved?
Scr_AddValueOnlyIfBlank=False |

- Rewrote the Cover/Poster Block (Bugfix)
The old "guessing" the cover-filename from the thumbnail filename function wasn't always correct, sometimes the real filename was completely different. Now the real links will be loaded, no more "guessing" the filename.

Wow !!!
Good job, Thanks :)
But for me it imports Original Title but doesn't replace Title when importing. Is it intentional or something to be fixed?

Works for me. But i added a new Advanced Option: [Title Import] there you can activate or deactivate this function, just like in the IMDB Scripts. |

Too bad. It seems that the cover import stopped working since the XMM update.
Can you take a look at that Prinz? |
