Is the script gone slow or is it me. Seems to freeze on actors now and again. Actors set at 25. |

In IMDB.COM (Actors) when an actor is imported via this script there is the main Name field that is cleared after updating (the field with the blue background, near the actor id). this makes the actor to not show in any letter in the alphabet sort, because it's name is now empty. the script should leave this field without changing it. |

Is this actor freeze happening to anybody else please. Just added a film and the 25 actors took over 30mins + too download. I have a 50mb connection (6mbs max download) so there can't be a bandwidth problem. Is it the script or my end.

Sorry, maybe I should have put this query in this thread as opposed to a new thread (IMDB.COM (Complete)Title Search Problem)
The IMDB.COM (Complete) script has had a problem for a month or two which seemed to start when IMDB displayed a dropdown selection of movies when you type a title in the search box.
The Symptoms are 1. If the script does not find a single exact match, a series of lines appears where the list of movies to select from would appear. Each line has a hand with a raised finger (Ok I can take a hint :-) ) on the LH end and no text - so its kinda hard to pick the right movie 2. To get it to find the movie you must replace the title with the IMDB reference number (e.g. tt1568816) and click search again. It then find the movie and starts the import (The other problem in the earlier post about "Error downloading the #OPENWEBSLOT1# seems to have gone away with the latest (today) script update)
As an example, search for Phase 7 (2010) (which is tt1568816)
Anyone else got this problem? Is there a fix? TFAI

For me it's the same as for Prinz. All movies are shown. |

Are you using a old XMM Version?
Because the green part (Movie:/Director:) is missing in your screenshot and was added to XMM in a recent version.
IMDB.COM needs a current XMM Version because of new functions in the script and a few bugfixes in Magic Script. |

Hi,
I'm still on xmm 6.8.3.0 and trying to import episodes from the series Borgen (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1526318/). For reasons not known to me I get an error that I should check my firewall, but this only happens with this particular serie. There are no difficulties in importing other series or movies with unchanged firewall settings. Any ideas or suggestions pls? Thx. |

It's working in the current version, so either it's one of the old bugs the magic script engine or simply a function is missing in that old version.
The message check firewall is misleading in such cases (not with every movie/tv show happing). |

Ahha - might be due to old version. Have avoided new version for ever as it added nothing I wanted. I suppose I'll have to change now. Thx to all |

Ahha an now I know why I didn't want to upgrade. The conversion of databases process has got stuck in a loop. Oh well I'll report it elsewhere. |

Yes, he can! I would appreciate it, too. But in which field should the info be? A very long request for new Custom fields is still open... At the moment he only could add that info to an existing field I think.
But let's hear what Prinz says to. |
