Has anyone run across this error message:

"91-Object reference not set to an instance of an object..."

the scan will go no further. This happenes in current version 7.0.9.8 and the version previous.

Any suggestions on how to fix? It makes it very frustating to search my drives if i have to do each folder individually....which is what i have to do when this error shows itself.

thanks guys for any help

cheers

I got that error as well. Here are a few details... I am using a 250g external USBII drive. For a test I did the following. I copied the contents of the USBII drive into a folder on the internal drive. It worked well. I then reformated the USBII drive (NTFS). I copied the contents back from the internal drive onto the USBII drive. That drive gave me the same error again. Hope it helps.

My 2TB external drives are all formatted in NTFS and I have never had any errors using a USB connection....I have my drives mapped via a drive letter though as UNC paths don't work properly. So when it asks what folder to use, you simply browse down by drive letter and it finds all my movies...does that help?

That is exactly what I do... It seems like I get that error on any drive I select, even SATA or PATA. If I select a folder, then I do not get the error. Another thing, no mater what I select, it never fills the CatalogNo with the drive name.

I got the same problem since the update. No problems before.
It happens when i scan my drive with 200 movies. Stops every time around number 170. It's not the specific movie, when i delete it, it stops at the next one.
Hope you can fix it soon!
