Hello
I see a mixup between VHS fields and DVD fields.
I think it would be better to choose between the two instead of having the fields of both of them at the same time.
The tabs "Files", "Media", "DVD/VHS" are connected to media type.
If it's a VHS cassete in the "files" tab only some fields should be seen: trailer file 1,2,cover, media label.
In the "media" tab only the following fields should be seen:
Screen Ratio,Subtitles,color,VHS adv,Vedeo mode.
in the "DVD/VHS" tab only the following fields should be seen: video standart,MPAA,original lang.,starting position,audio/video/film quality..
the opposite should be with DVD (or Bluray): only the fields concerned to the media type should be seen. |

| In the mini statistics it sould show: "total cassetes", just like "total disks". |

It would be less confusing to make a separation of the VHS and Optical media (DVD,BLURAY, hard drive)
the MEDIA tab can be organised by the two media types which can be chosen by a "radio button"
both media have common fields:
language
number of (tapes,disks)
edition
screen ratio
media year
upc
packaging
original
in the VHS option the additional fields could be seen:
Video standart
Video Mode
Starting position
Free Time
Film/Video/Audio Rating
in the optical media (dvd/bluray,HD) additional fields (to the common) could be seen:
codec
video bitrate
resolution
audio bitrate
audio format
s.Rate
channels
fps
ripper
region
features
chapters
in the current state the tabs are in a confusing order.
why two AWARDS fields ?(in the Custom and EXTRA 3 tabs).
the "Last Loan", "Date Last Loaned","loaned" fit more to the EXTRA tab.
"movie connections" field fits more to the Custom tab. |
