Hello I just had the wierdest thing. I have a film on 2 700MB cds. (CD1,CD2). i wanted to read it's files. I read the first one and was OK, information imported in the "Media" and "Files" tabs. Than when i read the second disk's files the "Movie File" in "Files" tab changed from the first file's name two the second, instead of adding the second one. Same with "Media Labels". Further more: in the "Media" tab in the "Disks" field it should also be filled with the number "2". instead of "1". Total Filesize should also be updated.and the movie length should also be accamulated. the first cd's movie length was extracted although the option ,not to calculate if the lenght already exists, is enabled!!! |

tried adding two files from HD separatly (first and then the second) the same thing happened: the first file's info was replaced, instead of being added. works only if you select them both at the same "read". but can't select them both if i have only one cd-rom drive. |

I use "the Read Files" Function. if you select all the files in one read than it adds correctly but if you read one file, and than press again read files, and select the second file than it replaces the first one.

i still have the problem. i have a film which is split in 4 parts: (cd1,cd2,cd3,cd4). all the parts are on the same DVD But each in different folder. 4 folders, CD1,CD2,CD3,CD4. how can i read the 4 files? i can't select them, the read files option allows me to select only in the same folder. i can't select different files from different folders and only then start the reading. i tried to copy/Pase the paths of the files manually in the "Files" tab, but than the calculation of movie length is not correct(only takes the length of the first file). I have a suggestion: currently if you press "Read Files" a browser opens up, you select a file, press open and then the "Read Movie Files" opens, which makes the list of files you selected, read codecs etc... and at the top there is a button: "Select Files To Read...". if you press it the browser opens up (AGAIN!). I think instead of opening first the browser and then the "Read Movie Files", the "Read Movie Files" should open first! because from this window you can open the browser anyway(press "Select Files To Read..."), and in addition to "Select Files To Read..." you should add a button: "Add files" so that a user can add several files from several paths to the list. |
