It seems to be impossible to make automated film update from UPC/EAN code.
I'm just benchmarking two products "Movie Collector 7.1 Pro" and " Extrem Movie Manager".

While barcode scanning and database submitions works like a charm in "movie collector" all results returned by Extrem Movie Manager where empty with the same barcodes.

Such a shame when extrem Movie Manager appears to have more featrues.

Any idea ?

Do you have used a script that works with this code?

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

I seem to recall a thread where Alessio said that to use a Barcode scanner you need to set it to Text Mode and place focus on the UPC field so that the scanned code goes into it. I also recall that only the Amazon script uses Barcodes as a search feature. I know that this is not the ideal solution because I too have considered using a Barcode scanner to help speed things up. However, based on the above statements, it seems that it would take modification to both XMM and the importing scripts, which sounds like a significant effort. The question then becomes, how many people would be able to use that feature versus all of the other feature on the table for development/repair?

Thanks,
Norm
