Is there someway to export .NFO files to the folder that holds the movie? I didn't see anything that said you could do it. I'm sure a script could do it since all I am looking for is a.nfo file with the imdb # in it.

Any clue?

Well, I rename my folders and movies the same, without any other extras so the folder and the file would both be named
Conan The Barbarian
I rename the folder, copy the name of it, paste it over my named .mkv file so it is the same name.
I then create a text document and paste the name on it so it is the same name.
I paste the IMDB link in, save it and rename it to .nfo
I could script that I guess but this is just to clean it up and only takes me a minute.
while I have the IMDB link on the clipboard I create a shortcut to it too so I can quickly get to the IMDB site without opening the NFO file too.
But this could all be scripted I guess...

Yeah, I am in the process of trying to do .nfo's for my entire collection. Guess I will have to look for another file to do this. Was thinking that since the data was in EMM already, it may have the capability to regugitate a .nfo with the items you select from the database.

Thanks

Post it in the requests improvements forum and I am sure that it will be added.

You just want to export the nfo file to the folder where the movie is stored, correct? We have already gotten the function added to export the cover to the folder so the NFO file would be a logical addition to the tools :-)
