Not so long ago I posted about bug. When U add new poster in movie it's doesn't change or missing in HTML card. Updated today on 7202. Post doesn't load in cover manager at all. It's shows up on second in picture view panel and disappear. Still doesn't save changes in thumbnail view customization. HELP!!! |

ok. that's is really weird. Telling u step by step what i did and what happend. I adding pictures through clipboard. Opening pic in internet, copying it in clipboard, clicking paste from clipboard button in "Picture view" toolbar. After update i was adding this way picture in movie already created, in Picture view image shows up less then for a sec and gone. In thubnail view it's doesn't show as in picture view. I tryed few times again got pissed off and didn't start program for a while. Now I started program - image already there oO... I deleted image, made operation again - same sh1t. So I opened cover manager and I see picture in the bottom like when u selected image from list but there is no file in cover manager. I click paste from clipboard in the cover manager - image shows up. Idk what is it, but it not suppose to be this way. It could be me, but version before was fine, at least in this case. I hope its gona help find problem, and looks like i found at last add picture in freaky way) |

Can you check the name of the file that is saved? The same thing happened to me before the New Cover Manager, and the pic was saved as 1.jpg. When I added another picture to another film, this was also saved as 1.jpg and of course the previous one was overwritten. Both entries have 1.jpg as cover, but of course 1.jpg is only relevant to the second.
This behaviour happened randomly, I coulndn't replicate it. I don't know about the new CV, haven't tried it long enough yet. |

Similar thing happened to me yesterday. Was updating info on the Angel seasons. Found new covers i wanted to use, Dragged and dropped new front covers from window explorer (already saved images to temp folder, As i find clipboard copy and paste can leave you with an red x on html card)and everything was working fine until season 1 back cover also wanted to be the season 2 back cover. The best part was all the fanart a got for season 1 was also on season 2.In the end i had to delete season 2 and start again.
I think sometimes it has problems attaching a filename to the picture and i don't think it's anything to do with IrfanView, as i tested that on and off and no difference.
One last bit or it will be new year by the time anybody finishes reading this.
Season 2 was movie id 67 and Season 1 is movie id 66, all images for 67 were named 66 and if i renamed them myself to 67 they did show up in cover manger anymore.
How this helps in a long winded way to narrow done the problem.
Merry Christmas To All and Best Wishes to Alessio, Jdommi and Prinz and for the coming year.

P.s (Oh no! not more you all shout) Alessio this a excellent program and never forget that. Even though everybody likes to moan about it.

I'm just a little bit confused at the moment. I can remember that sometimes after importing some pics where saved as 0.jpg or only .jpg but that is really a long time ago. Seems as if in that cases the variable containing the movie id is reset by an error. Unfortunately I don't know which one. In this case I check the picture name directly in access by searching for these file names and delete them or correct them manually. And least but not least thanks for the christmas wishes. Same to you and all other users and of course Ale himself!
