Spaces are removed from strings!
I set new strings for Title Cleaning (without the quotes):

"- 480p"
"- GR"
"- Eng"
" - "
"- "
" -"

When the Options are saved, the new strings are retained but WITHOUT the spaces:

1111
-480p
-GR
-Eng
-
-
-

Which of course means no cleaning.
