At first try the irfan view option, please. Next step: is the folder [your_database_name]_cover is existing? Have a look if there is anything in it. And where is you database located? |

First, do an update of your scripts. Then run the script you want to get DVD covers from the update button and not the F6...F8 hot key and let us know the name of the script that is no longer working. Alessio does not write all of the scripts and some may need updating. |

@Clean: Seems not to be a problem of the scripts...

Nodsnods, the "any script" is iffy as not every script is intended to get DVD covers. It is best to know the specific script that is the problem rather than just saying all of them. |

Warp2, I've looked and there is no script named No Good. Please post the name of the script that is giving you the problem. |

I tested the DVD Empire as well as AdultDVDEmpire and they both worked. No problem with the site or the scripts. Can you check your "eXtreme Movie Manager 7\tempdir\" and see if there are any files in it? In particular buffercover.jpg. If there are none that is telling us something. If there are, go ahead and delete them and try importing again and see what you get. |

When you updated, did you update from a much older version, i.e. did you have to convert your database? Are these new imports you are getting covers for? No covers exist for them yet?
You can also try running the script in the editor. Go to advanced tool, and choose MagiScript Editor. In the editor, open the script you are using and in the lower left you will see a box with the word matrix in it. Replace matrix with the name of the movie you are getting a cover for. Then hit Alt-E (this will run the script line by line). When control comes back to you press and hold Alt-N (this will begin processing each line of the script). Once you have found your movie you may want to no longer hold the Alt-N and just begin stepping through script, it should go fairly fast. You are interested in the #POSTER# block of the script. If it fails in that section, let us know what line it stopped on. It is possible you have a fubar script. |

1. Create a new database in My Documents\eXtreme Movie Manager\Databases. 2. Add any movie and import the info for. Best to use IMDB as this script is definitively working. Check explicitly if in the Advanced Script Options it is checked to get the field covers. 3. Are now the covers visible? 3.a. If yes then your database is defective for any reason. Further checks are required. 3.b. If no then I don't know what to do.

Even in the new database there are no pics visible? Can it be that your system does not handle .jpg? That somehow ^the handler for this extension is unregistered?

Well, please speak in whole sentences *lol* First you wrote "Wow, didn't help" and then "New database there are."
The new database shows the covers? Then your database seems to be corrupted. Do you have MS Access? Open the mdb with it and check if the column FrontCovers (or Covers?) contains any values and if these values (=picture names) are located in the covers subfolder of your database. |
