Hello,
I realize that this isn't enough information to troublshoot a bug: so I'll detail what I know, and collect additional info as instructed.

Currently, when I run the update manager, upon selecting a match for my first movie, the entire program suit freezes. This is in Windows 8 RP, but also persists when Windows 7 compatibility mode is selected.

Any help would be much appreciated, and as I said, I would be happy to debug this with your coders however works best.

Thank you for report. I have try XMM 7 on windows 8 without problems, I will try XMM 8 deeply on this system before release.

XMM 7 will be replaced soon by XMM 8, please give it a try to windows 8 if you have time.

You can install both softwares on the same machine.
