Hello-

Just tried to install EMM8 as an update from EMM7. Installation went fine but trying to open EMM8 I get error that I need to have Net Framework 4.0 installed. I used a Framework verification and Version 4 is installed. Have been using EMM7 which also requires version 4 without an issue. I installed EMM8 into a new directory, so have both 7 & 8 installed. 7 still opens fine. Do I need to uninstall 7? Should I reinstall 8?

Are there any other reports/solutions for this?

I am running on Windows XP.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks.

No, both versions run simultaneously. But XMM7 needs Net 2.0!
Maybe 8 does not work because of an error in your Net 4 installation?
Because of some issues do not change the installation folder of XMM8. Just take it as it is at the moment.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

I reinstalled EMM8 in C:\. No change, still getting "No Ver 4 Framework" error.

I'll wait for awhile as I do not want to mess with my Framework installation yet.

Thanks.

Seems as if your Net4 installation is not okay. It's the only thing that may solve your problem.
