adding movies from nas synology does not seem to work correctly. Scanning stops after some time. Also Xmm tells me that I am scanning some blue ray device.

Also the "play" option does not work at all, while the selected network path is correct.

I suspect that the scanning stops after the 25 entries which is allowed for "non activation" try installation. I did activate, but no luck as far as scanning is concerned.

Do you have a drive letter assigned to it? EMM has issues with paths and UNC names I discovered, but assigning a drive letter and subfolders works fine...

In Windows 8.1 I am running into this issue with networks shares that have a drive letter. When I try to use "Read file" it doesn't even show the network locations in the list...

Did you already have had access to this drive letter? I mean is a automatic connection on startup activated?
I know it from my job (win 8.1) that sometimes the assignment fails until I manually connect the network drives a second time.

In order to achieve what is possible, you have to try the impossible over and over again.

Yes, I already had access to the drive letter... and I made sure I could access it in Windows Explorer. I also added the application as safe to my Antivirus software as well.

Sorry, I can't help you on that as I don't have only USB devices. On that I don't have any issues.
Maybe you should write Ale an email about your problem.
