Here is a list of issues I found with using XMM8 as of 20121018
Norm

=========CRITICAL ISSUES===========================
Add/Edit 'Update from Web' does not allow you to select any Chains. The only options are 'Start' and 'Pie'. Pie does nothing but should be a 'Select Chain' Command.
Read Files in Add/Edit zeros out the file size and duplicates the Audio information
Screen Ratio on Video Add/Edit window does not show a value while the detailed grid does have a value. Even after doing a Read File command
the Screen Ratio remaind blank.
Awards on the Details tab of Add/Edit does not show Awards while the Grid Awards does show the Awards.
When updating from the web some scripts append or change the title, for example "The Avengers" is changed to "Avengers, The (Blu-ray + DVD Combo)". The Title should remain as the user defined it and only the Original Title should be changed.
ADD/Edit tab Files shows a field called "Type". If you do a "Edit File" the window that opens does NOT have a Type field to enter information into. The Type of the Movie file is not used in the Type Field either.
ADD/Edit | Update from Web | Options | Title Cleaning. If the word "The" is at the end of the title already and the check box for "Moving THE to the end" is not checked, the result is "The" in the title is moved to the front of the movie title instead of being left alone at the end where it was already"
During initial add of Movies, a value ranging from 1 to 3 was placed into the Movies 'Length' field rather than the actual length from the Internet (When Web Update had been done).
There are two different responses when doing a "Update from Web" in the Add/Edit window and when doing a Right Click from the Grid and selecting a script. Basically the Right Click method yields strange Window behaviors and processes not started when the script queue is full.

=========SUSPECTED PROBLEMS======================
When doing a "Read File" in the ADD/Edit, the location always starts at the location of XMM 8. It should start in the location of the Movie as defined in the Files Tab of ADD/Edit. It would even be better if it just read the File listed in the Files Tab.

=========NICE TO HAVE============================
Would be nice to show front cover in Picture Tab.
Could you make Ripper in Add/Edit Video Tab be a drop down list? There are multiple types of rippers needed depending on if DVD or Blu-ray or Digital Copy.
Culd you separate the Plot & Synopsis into to different fields as well as different display options on the HTML card?
The synopsis data is basically spoiler information that gives away the full movie. Who needs to watch a movie if you know everything about it
It would be nice if a user could select multiple Movies from the GRID view to have Updated from the Web. Especially during the conversion from XMM7 to XMM8.
I hope the Plugins that were available for NMT like OnEx and MyLittleNMTExport will still be available and at the least capable of reading the XMM8 database and files. Those tools are the only good ones for creating Android, Windows & Everything else files (using only HTML)

=========ENGLISH MESSAGE CHANGES FOR CLARITY========
"WARNING! This Movie is Currently Updated from Internet!" should be rewritten to "WARNING! The Movie is Currently Being Updated With Internet Information!"
