Hello Alessio,

yes, I have nothing to complain on the others scripts I'm using.
Where this var is defined in the script ?

Weird, not been able to find it ;o(
But I'm not so used to the MagicScript stuff...

Another point, the error is reported by IrFanView and not xMM !! Strange don't you think ?

Thanks in advance for fixing it !!!!

BTW...

* any way to have a FANART dedicated entry in the DB ?

* is it possible, for the MOVIEDB and FANART to retrieve the ORIGINAL MOVIE TITLE instead of the TITLE only ? -> my title are in FRENCH and never discovered and I have to wait the end of the search before typing the correct name ;o(

Thanks for your help.

No, no, I think the problem is related to script, that probably do not download cover anymore.

The other script are working correctly, right?

Hello Alessio,

as you can imagine, I restarted the application few times and even rebooted the workstation.
The error message is from IrfanView !!!

I have not been able to find where the variable where located.
Since the error is the double back-slash;

D:\My Documents\eXtreme Movie Manager 7\\tempdir

it would be easy to fix it.
Is the problem related to the lenght of the destination ?

Do the script is working on you workstation ?

Thanks,

MoBO

Hello Alessio,

I have a problem with this script.
When I tried to import I get the following error message ;

Error! Can't load : D:\My Document\eXtreme Movie Manager 7\\tempdir\buffercover.jpg

The double-backslash (\\) seems to be the problem.
I have not been able to fine the error myself on the script.

Can you help ?

What about a separate FAN-ART on the DB ?

Keep in touch,

MoBO

Hi Alessio,

the new script to import the Fanart works great for me.That it save the picture to the Cover folder was also o.k for me. But maybe it was possible to integrate it to the Video Browser Export funktion.
For example : XMM generates a folder for each Film with an Folder.jpg, mymovies.xml and a new "Background.jpg" from the Fanart. If more than one Fanart Backgrounds exist xmm can take simple the first. So we can change the used Background by simply change the range in the cover-manager. It must be possible to integrate the ŽBackground to the xml-file. Maybe this was easier to program for you.

Video Browser with Fanart-Background looks great in VMC. I found this funktion because i have a problem that Media Browser shows no Metadata. I found out that i must create a Dummy.avi File in each folder to get it work. So i used Salamis movie Organizer to check if the Metadata was correct, and this program put the bachground Fanart into the XML-File. Maybe you can ad this feature into XMM in future Versions.

kind regards

Gurgi

Thank you, probably there is a bug, because it should import fanart also if posters are disabled.

I will try to separate them; if are downloaded in a folder like yourdatabase_download is OK for you?

Another : The fanart is not download at his full resolution. I think they are thumbs of fanart on this site and the original size of fanart (1280*720)

Like aladdin (1992) download the fanart but in 780*439 only
olivvvv Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 13:13:28
Me again too ;)
I have resolve my problem.
Fanart is enable (1)
Fanart is only download if Photogallery is also enable (1), if not only poster are download.

And if you can dissociate fanart and poster (in database and in a specific folder) , you will be a jedi ! :)

In fact, you are very reactive, impressive !
Alessio Viti Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 11:52:10
Me again,

I have try just now and seem that also fanart is downloaded.

XMM has downloaded a total of 14 pictures, 12 fanart and 2 posters.

Please be sure that the option to download fanart is switched on, you can see this when you search for a movie, at the top of the directlinks to select there should be 2 yellow phrases that warning you that posters and fanart are enabled.

Hi,

at this time is not possible, but I can enable an "old" MagicScript instruction never used called #DOWNLOADFILE#

I can modify this one, or maybe change it, to download any kind of file in a specified folder.

I will try to work on this.

Thank you!

hi Alessio, good sunday,

ok if you go to this link (walle) : http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/10681
you can see poster in right bottom (these poster is download by extreme movie)
you can see fanart in front (this fanart is not download by extreme movie)

I'll said that fanart will be a good choice to save in another place because i use meedio and to make difference between poster and fanart will be two places for storage.
it's possible ?
Alessio Viti Posted - 21 Dec 2008 : 00:21:03
Yes, I understand, but there isn't another place where put images, there are only "covers", where you can put posters, frames of movies, fanart...

Do you have problems with all movies? I have try "the dark knight" and it imported 41 images (posters and fan art)

Alessio
olivvvv Posted - 20 Dec 2008 : 23:13:47
ok alessio, but i only take the covers but the fanart, not.
Idealy, the fanart will be store in another colummn of database (do you understand ? sorry for my poor english)
Alessio Viti Posted - 20 Dec 2008 : 17:57:10
Thank you!

If you have download the latest release the script is already inside XMM.

Just import a movie with this script, should automatically download fanart and posters.

Let me know if there are bugs.
