Yes, more features causes more to learn, but I think you will get in there sooner as you think ;)
I only have worked a few weeks with old 6.8, therefore for me the changing was not so eXtreme, hehe. |

I forgot to say that I m still using eMM 6.8. I think 6.8 better than new versions, easier to use. I can add any actor from starring section in 6.8 and it is very useful. I dont know how to add any actor from starring section for the new 7 versions. 7 versions so complicated for me o_O |

No way to be a pain ;) But I don't find any error - maybe another one can help.
Didn't you mean the function to be able to select some actors on HTML card and add their info? |

I have tried the IMDB Actors, too. No problems... except that it downloaded more info on actors except bio and trivia. It did import it, but less parts. Seems as if there was missing a loop for importing "every" bio/trivia paragraph.
Your other problem: that would be a "new feature request". A new function similar to "Add movie from filmography".

There is a complicated situation, first I've added actors from movies I imported before, manually one by one (not all actors). Then tried to import actor's info by using imdb(actors) script and it did not download actor's biography, trivia etc.
Today i read jdommi's message, deleted script, downloaded again and added "Arnold Schwarzenegger" by writing my own hand and tried to import from imdb and it downloaded nothing... just imdb link, not a picture, movie career, biography, nothing. Tried on actors i added from movies cast (starring) section manually and it did just not download biograpy and trivia.
well, at last i added "Terminator", imported using imdb(complete) and voila! Arnold's infos (biography included) was imported completely (and all other actors too).
Now there is a problem. I dont want to import all actors in the movie I import (by using imdb(complete) script), cuz it takes too much time. I want to add a few actors only from the movies cast(starring) section manually, and import them by using imdb(actors) script.

Well, I have checked it on Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Skerrit and a few others. But for me the biography and trivia was imported everytime. And existing informations wasn't deleted, too.
Maybe you should delete the script and reload it again...

Yes...I am having the same trouble....actors no longer imports biographies and if you re-import into an actor then it deletes the existing biography, trivia, comments, etc. |
