Posted - 17 Dec 2012 : 20:56:41 System restore don't restore those files unfortunately. Please have a look at google for "undeleter" or "recover". There are existing a lot of such tools like Easus Data Recovery or Ashampoo Undeleter. Please check which of those are good for you. I'm personally using old Restorer 2000 Pro, but that's not freeware and it has the need of having enough free space on other drives. Maybe one of the other users can offer you a free and easy solution. And please don't save anything to that drive until restoration. That's really important! |

Posted - 17 Dec 2012 : 20:29:22 Ok if you could break that down a lil for me srry im not real big comp savvy...the movies were stored on a hard drive just for movies in another comp on my home network...so i use system restore on that comp to try to get them back? |

Posted - 17 Dec 2012 : 19:38:44 I would use the f-word... kaihean, please use an undelete or a recovery tool to restore your movies. But keep in mind to better restore all movies onto another drive to not overwrite any data.
It's really a bug. When using My Collection in HTML and storing this output in an existing folder then all previous data is gone! Seems as if the folder will be deleted without checking if there is any data in it and then it's created again. |
