Posted - 14 Jan 2010 : 18:15:58 If you try to import info from amazon.de for movies containing a german so-called "Umlaut" like ä,ö,ü the script will find no matching dvd.
You can resolve the problem by replacing ä by ae (or ö by oe, ü by ue). Then the correct dvd will be found (and it contains the "Umlaut".
The same happens with the german ß which must be replaced by ss to find the movie. |

Posted - 14 Jan 2010 : 20:40:33 Why not just use #SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERY#?
#SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERYWORD#=ü=%FC #SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERYWORD#=Ü=%DC #SUBSTITUTEWEBQUERYWORD#=ä=%E4
...And so forth?
Remember to save the .TXT in ANSI format.. |

Posted - 14 Jan 2010 : 18:32:02 Yes, ther is missing a replace function in MagicScript. Would be even better to automatically replace äöüß automatically to it's web expression. I hope Ale will add this really usefull function in near future! |
