Hi, I don't know if it is the manager or the IMDB scripts that do this, but in the AWARDS part for example, after importing movie info, there are some strange characters like #x22; #x27; #xEA;, and some in the custom 9 field with the AKA titles. To me it's just one of those things that's annoying to see. Not really a big problem.

Thanks.

And it's a good opportunity to remind to Alessio this old request. When will XMM become a trully unicode program? If one is not using the standard western locale, it's really a drag not being able to see the proper characters in certain parts of the program...

That are special characters in html encoding.

There are two possibilities that there are not removed:

1. Just forgot to add them to the replace table in the script or the convert command in the import block

2. there are characters that can't be converted (because XMM isn't Unicode) Example in AKA field: asian characters and such...

Only in the first case can it be corrected.
