In the Grid view I add columns and rearrange them.
After reopening XMM, the grid shows the correct columns in the initial order (and width) and not rearranged and resized. |

Strange ... it works for me with 8.0.2.8.
There was an > option to > freeze the current layout ... do you happen to have this set to true? |

As I said the columns I add still show - therefore they are saved.
What is not saved is the order I place them in; they revert to where XMM originally placed them.
XMM is installed in the Documents folder. |

If I'm right the grid settings get saved under "[XMM folder]/layout/" ... are you sure XMM can write to it? Could be that you're not running XMM in admin mode which could affect things with Win 7 + 8 and you've installed XMM in a system protected folder (like "program files (x86)).
I followed a hint from one user to change security settings of the XMM folders (gave my user full access) and have no problems with grid saving at the moment. |
