By the way: For 32 bit XMM has the Compact & Repair function inbuilt. For 64 bit this function is no longer available as the 64-bit driver from MS does not allow it anymore. |

Posted - 30 Jun 2016 : 06:24:15 I already had .net for x86 so no dice with that, however the compact and repair did the trick, Thank You so much ! |

Posted - 29 Jun 2016 : 09:43:53 1. Open your database with Access. 2. Menu Extras -> Database Tools -> Compact and Repair
Alternatively you could try to create a new database with XMM and restart the program.
But what just came into my mind: When you have installed XMM 32-bit then you need the net framework for 32 bit, too! You can install them parallel without any problems. |

Posted - 29 Jun 2016 : 06:13:53 I am not familiar with access so would need a bit more information to achieve what you've suggested :( |

Posted - 29 Jun 2016 : 06:11:43 it occurs during initialisation and anytime i try to do anything in the program - update import just about everything. |

Posted - 28 Jun 2016 : 11:31:26 Simply try opening the mdb with MS Access directly. Maybe you can try to Compact and Repair the database directly with MS Access .
Can you see at which point the error occurs? During initialisation XMM or on loading the database? Try to modify the config.ini manually to activate the DebugMode on line 152. At same time I would remove on the next line all recent databases (MostRecentDB=). |

Posted - 28 Jun 2016 : 10:39:33 This version is installed to documents folder and was installed after a completely fresh and slimmed down clean install of windows 10 pro 64bit.net framework 4 is part of the current operating system in windows 10. How do i check whether or not xmm is running correct database drivers? thanks for your reply regards phil |

Posted - 27 Jun 2016 : 10:21:49 I would suggest to uninstall XMM to have a "clean" system and install it in the suggested folder ("documents"). [b]Keep in mind to not delete your databases![b] Best to copy them with the related subfolders into a fresh folder.
Beside that: Did you already have checked if the correct database driver (32-/64-bit) is installed as well as MS .NET framework 4.0? Can you load the example database?
For me I have Win 10 (64-bit) with old Office 2003 32-bit drivers and XMM 32-bit. There are no problems when I (always) run XMM with admin rights. |

Posted - 09 Jun 2016 : 07:31:02 Hello,
What OS do you have? Have you install the Full release or just an update?
And last question: in which folder you install XMM? |
