On my desktop pc the problem still exists...it seems linked with my kaspersky internet security antivirus/firewall: even if i create an allow all rule for xmm, the error appears...instead if i shutdown the kis, the movies info's update goes well

OK, sorted the registry bit out, it was the backup software open file manager, still getting the error though with 5.5.3.0.

With 5.5.3.0 on my notebook the ResponseStatusLine5 bug seems to be fixed

Hi Martin,

Do you have this problem when XMM starts or when you try to install it?

Don't know if it's coincidental, but when I update to 5.5.2.0, I get this:

Error writing to registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\eXtreme Movie Manager .Net Edition_is1

RegSetValueEx failed; code 1019.
System could not allocate the required space in a registry log.

I've tried reinstalling the update and continue to get the same problem even with my Anti Virus etc. disabled.
Anyone any ideas - this seems to be going from bad to worse

Martin

Hi,

I've got the same problem with IMDB. If I try to get information for, Mistress of Spices (Original title), I can obtaint only the message ".... ResponseStatusLine5", but ... If I change the original title, 1 - Mistress of Spices, the process to get the information works fine.

No good, still the same. I have noticed that if I hav IMDB (complete) script as dedaulft 1 and Amazon as default 3, try Ĉon Flux using default 3, it doesn't find anyrhing and I then select "Skip this movie", IMDB (complete) seems to wotk OK.
Puzzled...

Have set "Ignore Script Errors..." and now get this "Error downloading the Webpage, are you connected to the Internet? Please take a look if your FIREWALL blocks eXtreme Movie Manager!!!"
I have disabled my firewall and still get the same result.

Another thing:

Have you this problem with the IMDB (Fastest) only or also with the IMDB (Complete) ?

Thank you,

Alessio

Hi Guys,

Please open the configuration window, go in the MagicScript section, and check the both "Ignore Script Error..."

Let me know if you receive the error message also with this options enabled.

Alessio
