Sorry mb some1 already write this question but i didnt find it on search.
Newly added and updated from internet movie has a white vertical stripes from both sides. but cover is alright, no white thing on it.
How to turn it of this crap and update thumbnails?

R u drunk or something? I don't want disable thumbnails, i want disable stupid white vertical border on them.
And there is no options of disable use of thumbnails in options, at least i didn't find any.

| Ok. I clicked refresh thumbnail and things got very ugly. Now its not just new movies, its all of them. Looks like thumbs left from previous version db, and clearly its not just a border or feature. Program do static empty white thumb then put movie thumb on it. Ofcource it doesn't feet on 100% bc thumb size isnt flexible like it was in previous versions. Why would u do this? |

I might been too sharp in my answer but it's only bc i'm tired to deal with 17 years old moderators on different forums who don't know their own projects, hardly speak english or don't read my post at all like in this case.
Please try to re-read dialog and you will see why we not on the same page.
I found that checkbox for tumbnails for people. But wat it has to do with thumbnails for movies? Anyway it didn't change anything (obvious). My last post pretty much explane the situation and actually i started to doubt if there any options to remove this "problem".
If the problem of our communications in language I also know russian, ukrainian and lilbit japenese, or i can use google translate on any language u speak, just let me know. And I don't keep u or anybody else for doormat, just expect from moderators and administration short and understandable answer. Something like u did in last post "Options -> Details Panel: Show Thu(m)bnails for People Photos." only somethig that actually will works for what i was asking.
p.s. I have only one side on bed XD |

Okay, let's forget it.
Despite a few things: I'm 3x 17 years old. I'm moderator to delete spam on the forum. Beside that I'm a normal user and don't have anything to do with Ale's project.
Hardly speaking english, well, that still wasn't really a problem that lasts for more than 1 or 2 posts - 'til now. But american "slang" like bc (=because) will not make life easier on international forums. Ale (the sole programmer!) is from Italy, I'm german and the users are from all over the world.
The short answer from me - I'm still not completely healed from a typist's cramp, therefor I wasn't active on computer the last weeks.

And these crappy white stripes I only know from the actor photos. All other pics are okay for me; no matter if it's an old one imported from XMM7 or a newly imported. So I pass the ball to someone else... |

| well, i figured that old version db is not an issue. Oh, wait... i think i got it. Do u use white skin on XMM? Try change it on black. I also did maximize thumbnails on 50%. So there is like 4x6 format of the thumb, and if my poster higher, there is white lines on right and left side, if its shorter - on top and bottom. Unfortunately there is no way i can do all posters on the same standard. Some movie posters from 30th almost impossible to find, others not that popular. So it's lucky to have one not just have HD normal format. That's y one of them longer, others shorters, bigger-smaller. It's looks ok when its just a thumbnail and nothing more, but with these lines... it looks like crap. Anyway i hope u guess find an advise for this thing 'cause it looks not cool. |
