hi
I coded an tool which exportet the information from the exm-databse in nfo files.
With the nfo files the xbmc get all information from them
Vers.: 0.9

at this time the tv show button don't work, because ther are to less informations(seasen cover,etc)
If there is a bug or i forgot something, than please tell it

there was a bug in the imdb id (now the tool get the id with the regex-->there should't be any problems any more)

here is another update
because i switched to ubuntu on my htpc i added an option to copy the actor,fanarts and cover into the movies-folder (because emm dosen't work under ubuntu (mono))
ps. please add it to the exx plugin so i can start it from the programm directly
pps: if anyone find a bug tell me
ppps: ale could you add a textbox for a sorttitel(because so i can display all Harry Potter Film in the riht order in XBMC) & the votes for imdb?

Hi.
I tried it - it is at least better than the built-in functionality... but, some Feedback :)
1) what's the "use only X moviefiles" for? - if the movie has one file, there should be one file listed, if two, then two..? No?
Furthermore, if i set this to 2, i get two entries for first file (although there are 2)...
And i dont know, if the filenameandpath tag is needed at all; if there's one movie per folder, XBMC/Ember/Others find all the relevant files on their own; have hundrets of scraped movies and never seen this tag ;o)
(and the mountpoint on my local machine is sure not the same for any other mediaplayer on LAN - so not useful at all ;)
2) please add an checkbox for creation of movie.nfo (same as moviename.nfo) and folder.jpg/movie.tbn (= front cover) - or create always

to 2
do you mean that you want "movie.nfo" and moviefilename.nfo or only "movie.nfo in the folder and why?
the same to the folder.jpg , olny folder.jpg or both folder and movie.tbn |

2) yeah, i though of both/all.
this is historical; other mediaplayers interpreting other files.... (although it is labeled solely as XBMC exporter ;o) |

but which mediaplayer read movie.nfo and folder.jpg?

Hi Radioactive,
I tested your tool and it looks great so far, but I have one issue. The ratings are stored in this format: "3,49", XBMC (and also Plex and project valerie on my enigma sat receiver) couldn't interprete the ",". They need it in "3.49"
The EMM internal NFO export function does it in this format. Is this a bug or does it work as designed. If so, could you add any config alternative to make this available? In the current mode, Plex and project valerie stop scraping the files at this tag.
@Ale, do you plan to integrate this great tool into EMM directly? That would make the handling much easier, because I would be able to select the relevant newly entered movies and don't need to always generate nfo files for the whole database.

hi,
can you add the condition, if wachedstatus = seen and playccount = 0 than playccount = 1 because xbmc don't read extream movie manager watched status inside nfo files.

Radioactive, thanks for this special version.
It helped as it stopped at the first movie with conflicts.
In that movie, that rating was missing.
Adding the rating, the script went through.
It took a while before I saw that it was the missing rating.
Maybe you can write a logfile with the concrete problem and enable to continue with teh next movie.
Than the user could check the metadata based on the logfile and rerun the script.
Unfortunately, the nfo files weren't generated (cover and actors are o.k.), because of the following error (this window came after finishing the script):
I'm running EMM and your tool on my workstation, the Movies are on my WHS server mapped to V:\ If I click "play moviefile" within EMM, it starts playing, but your exporter doesn't like it.
 .
Do you have any ideas? (maybe access rights)? I already have started the exporter as administrator.
Here's the zipped database with just one movie where the path of moviefile 1 is missing:
