I can not get the mass title add to work. I put in the list of titles i want to add and hit the add all movies and exit button and the add box closes but no movies are added to the database. It worked in all the 3.x editions but has not worked for me in any of the 4.x editions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does not work. Any one else having this problem or know what i can do to fix it.

I have a similar problem but not so often.
Mostly Mass Files Add works just fine. Occasionally it leaves a single file off the import list. Today, it flatly refuses to import any of the 6 files.
1) Mass Files add from f: (a USB DVD-RW)
2) 6 files appear (correct)
3) tick each one and click Add one movie for every selected file
Immediate response is a window Mass Add completed.
If I click one file and then clike Add all selected files to only One movie, I get the error message Please wait, followed by Title and ID cannot be blank (a clue?)
Any thoughs would be appreciated.

Hi,
Downloaded and installed 4.3 build 1.
No change to mass files add problem.
On the particular DVD I am using 'Add one movie for every file' ignores 2 files.
If I try 'Add all files to one movie' I get "Title and Id cant be blank'
If I add the files by hand and then do 'Read Files', all the data is imported OK

I just installed 4.5 Build 1 Pro and now I can not get Mass Tittle Add to work! I was using 3.5 which worked perfectly. Uninstalled old 3.5, even deleted the Folder just to make sure. Now I can't use Mass Title Add! Anyone have a clue?

OK, just an update. I did a restart on my system and was able to use the Mass Title Add. I did two titles and they were both added. So I decided to add 20. Only 1/2 of them were added! I then added 1 title and made sure it already existed in my DB, to see if some how the duplicate entries were a problem. It added the title.
I don't know what else to do.

Hi,
Maybe the problem is in the movie's title. I have see that if title contain the ' character XMM disn't add the movie. I will try to fix it for the next release.

I think the problem may be more complex. I just added 5 titles only a 3 got added. I think it may have something to do with duplicates but I can not be sure. I hope you can get to the root of the problem, I have not been able to use EMM for weeks. Although I could use the ADD button but that just takes way to much time.

I have a script process that allows me to use the UPC on the box to easily mass add movies to the database, however until XMM can import multiple movie titles in one session I will have to stop using the program. Basic sympom is this... select more than one movie to run a script against and you get the 1st movie over and over again.

Well the new 4.6 did nothing. I just added like 10 movies using Mass Title Add, it only added the movies not in the DB. The option for adding duplicates is not check. Hope an answer to this problem is in the near future...

Hi,
I have make some tests, the problem doesn't occur every time, but only sometime in my PC. Anyway I have make some changes, so the bug should be fixed.
Soon I will release the 4.7
