I seem to be having a problem with sorting my movies via genre. Lots of movies have mutiple genre's but EMM seems to create a new genre for each type of multiple genre.

For example I have one movie in this genre:
Adventure/Animation/Action/Sci-Fi/Thriller/Drama

Is it possible for EMM to simply include that movie, in all of those genre's? Sure it would look like I had 5 times more movies and I would possible be reading the same movie over and over, but when I have friends over and we want to watch "comedy", it would be good not to have to go through all the other genre's that include "comedy" in their huge genre title.

Hi,

At this time isn't possibile, this because the Script takes all the genres. Maybe a solution is to take from internet only one genre for each movie (the first one).

What do all think about this?

Alessio, it makes sense to do what you are suggesting, but also make it a configurable option, then people have the choice.

Along a different thought process, are you saying that it would not be reasonably possible to accomodate a "primary" genre and multiple secondary genere for each movie?

Definitly agree with Ben here. One primary genere would make sence with multiple secondary genre's. But how is it decided which is primary? Hard too choose your self when you haven't watched the movie and I dont think the first default choice is any better than the second. Maybe default should be none until the user signs one default too it and until then it would be included in all the secondary genre's.

I definitly think that a lot of movies belong in more than one genre group, so it would be nice to be able to search for movies that way with out skipping movies because they had only one genre assigned too it.

For example:
Are Jacky Chan movies comedy or action?
Are Matrix movies action or sci-fi?
