Updated for 8.1.1.0 (Fast service here, really):
Now with version 8.1.0.0 (http://www.binaryworks.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10432) I would have expected that the Episode Editor would have catched up, but no:
No dropdown lists for Media and Added with 8.1.1.0
Status fields (which needs a mapping from ID to Status Description) and, BTW, Added with 8.1.1.0 | no Status Desc. field in the Episodes grid.
No scalable Text Edit window for Memo / longtext fields on double click Added with 8.1.1.0
Incomplete <Tab> navigation (try to jump by tabulator from title to season to episode ... you'll get lost) Improved with 8.1.1.0 - from my P.O.V. the tab fields (except the main tab) should get ignored. (Sequence would be <episode ##> -> <Main Tab> -> <Original Title>
- Layout still rather different from Main Editor - like fields are in a different order, as well as tabs (see referenced post above)
- While the main edit window scaling behaviour is still not perfect that of the Episode edit window is worse: it doesn't exist at all.
 Got a bit better with 8.1.1.0 ... hoping for more
So may I add this to the christmas wishlist for this year or for the first XMM 8 stable version - whatever comes first?  |
